In the third quarter of 2024, several business finance and business solutions applications showed varied performance patterns on the Android platform in Kuwait. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PayPal Business saw a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at 298 downloads in early July, it peaked at 446 downloads in mid-July before settling to around 291 downloads by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 861 in the first week of July to a peak of 1.1K in late July, before a gradual decline to 950 by the end of the quarter.

The Accounting App - Zoho Books maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging between 220 and 441. Active users started at 941 in early July, reaching a high of 976 in early August, and closing at 830 by the end of September, indicating a slight downward trend.

Shopify Point of Sale (POS) displayed a fluctuating download pattern, beginning at 49 downloads in the first week of July, peaking at 108 in early September, and finishing the quarter with 65 downloads. Active users showed growth from 67 in early July to a peak of 113 in early September before ending the quarter at 85.

For Stripe Dashboard, downloads began at 53 in early July, fluctuated throughout the quarter, and ended at 31 by late September. Active users increased from 124 in early July to 178 by late September, indicating a positive trend in user engagement.

Finally, QuickBooks Online Accounting experienced a steady rise in active users from 146 in early July to 245 by the end of September. Downloads showed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 47 in early July and peaking at 94 in early August before settling at 62 by the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue saw minor fluctuations, with peaks of $16 and $12 in early July and late July, respectively.
